Introduction
The purpose of this article is to define employee engagement and explain why it is important (especially in terms of employee retention and performance), as well as to identify variables that are critical to its successful implementation. Methods and Statistical Analysis: Researchers employed the review approach in this investigation. During the analysis of around thirty academic and popular research articles/literature in the field of employee engagement, researchers identified certain factors that are frequently addressed in these studies. The review method tries to strengthen current literature.
Managers can rethink work and policies based on the characteristics outlined in this study, which would result in a happier workforce. This article will benefit anyone looking to gain a better grasp of employee engagement in order to improve organizational performance. Applications/Improvements, The study's findings have implications for future reference, such as reducing staff turnover and increasing productivity through the implementation of various engagement aspects.

Findings
It was discovered that all of the indicated characteristics were predictors of employee engagement; however, the variables with the greatest impact were the working environment and the team and coworker relationships. staff engagement has a substantial impact on staff performance.

Conclusion
The foundation of human resource management is employee engagement, which represents a mutually beneficial partnership between employers and employees. As HR procedures change, it becomes clear that encouraging involvement is essential to improving output, retention, and overall performance of the company. HR departments foster a dedicated and driven workforce by fostering an environment of open communication, acknowledging individual accomplishments, and offering opportunity for professional growth and development. Organizations show a sincere interest in the performance and well-being of their workers by implementing programs like wellness centers, flexible work schedules, and feedback systems. Strong employee engagement ultimately propels sustainable growth and excellence by fostering a sense of fulfillment and belonging among individuals in addition to driving corporate success.
